BEAT have recently started a new energy and water efficiency project providing support to community centres across West Yorkshire.
This project is part of the Community Cascade project - a partnership project funded by the Big Lottery fund. BEAT are providing similar support to community centres within the South Pennine LEADER area, funded by the South Pennine LEADER fund (the LEADER fund is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union).
BEAT aim to facilitate energy saving in community organisations through a package of support including training, exchange visits, support materials, advice and audits.
