Local CD-Rom producer, HDC Associates Ltd, had 2.5 tonnes of waste CDs. We found Poly C Reclaimers in Manchester who collected the CDs and paid for them.

Asa Nicholson's Bakery and Tearoom at Keelham has 40 litres of used cooking oil every week, which is now going to the Biofuel Diesel Project to be made into diesel fuel.

Ashtree Glass have 1 skip of mirror glass per month. This is now going to Berryman's UK in South Kirby and saving the company £25 per month on waste disposal.

have been giving 2 cu metres of 1 metre lengths of 2" x 2" softwood to various rehabilitation projects and schools every month.

Eurotex Enterprises have donated offcuts of bed linen to Laisterdyke High School for their Design Technology Department.

Lambert Machine Tool Company Ltd in Keighley had 100 gallons of used lubricating oil collected for free by OSS Ltd of Morley.

Lawrence Stone Sales gave 2 tonnes of unwanted stone chippings to Carlton Bolling College for landscaping and other consignments of chippings to Forest of Bradford for path making.

Ley Top Primary School gave 104 unused fluorescent tubes to Keighley Furniture Project.

RS Garments gave 4000 surplus gift boxes to Grange Technology College.

Yorkshire Rubber Linings Ltd are sending 400 kilos of rubber trimmings to Ryburn Rubber Ltd every month. 160 heavy cardboard tubes and 400 kilos of used polythene each month go to C & J Blackburn.

Yorkshire Water Services Limited had 100 tonnes of stream bed gravel collected from water channels. We found that Bradford Council's Countryside and Rights of Way Dept could use it for repairing footpaths.

Home Electrics in Huddersfield had 6000 cubic feet of polystyrene. Styrene Packaging and Insulation in Bradford agreed to collect it.
