order to double the woodland cover, 1690 hectares of new woodland planting will
be needed.

INVOLVING
COMMUNITIES IN PLANNING AND MANAGING WOODLAND TREES
The
project advises landowners on management of their existing woodlands. For
those projects involving improvement on public access to existing woodlands,
funding is also available.
A
key factor of this project is involvement of all communities in the scheme.
