The
Pennine Waste Exchange diverts industrial and commercial waste away
from landfill. The scheme has been set up to promote the reuse of
waste materials wherever possible and to identify waste streams
that could form the basis of new enterprises.
This
is achieved by providing systems for listing materials available
and materials wanted so that matches can be made between the two.
All
companies and organisations, large or small, are invited to join
the Pennine Waste Exchange. The more companies, schools and community
groups involved, the more likely it is that matches will be made
between available waste and waste wanted. And the more people that
will benefit. Some items become available as one-time opportunities
but others are regular supplies.
If
you want to join the scheme, all we require are the following details:
The
name of your organisation |
A
contact name |
Phone
number |
Email
address |
What
material(s) you have or are looking for |
How
much of the material(s) you have or require |
Is
it a one off or a regular supply? |
Is
it free or not? |
What
are the requirements regarding delivery/collection? |
Once
we have these details, we will enter them onto our system and the
website and actively look for matches.
And
it's FREE!!!
