Hedge Laying Courses

Fees: £80 per person
This year we are planning to run eleven weekend hedge laying courses between October 2010 and March 2011. There will be opportunity for beginners and for those with some experience, wishing to tackle more challenging hedgerows..
Day 1
10:00 – 15:30 (12:30 Lunch)
Introduction to hedge laying and overview of course. Students shown how to use the traditional tools of the trade safely. Working in pairs initially to learn the basic technique of hedge laying.
Day 2
10:00 – 15:30 (12:30 Lunch)
Reinforcing the skills learnt on day one by working on your own 10m stretch of hedgerow.

Fees will be £80 / person for the weekend payable to BEAT with a maximum of six people per course.

NB. Cancellations notified two weeks before the date the course is due to take place will incur an administration fee of £10.
Cancellations made after this date cannot be refunded.
